Our mission is to break cycles of poverty by equipping underserved youth with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to lead successful lives and transform their communities.
About CAIN Educational Foundation
CAIN Educational Foundation is a nonprofit empowering underserved African youth to escape poverty through quality education and skills. In a context where millions are excluded from quality learning due to poverty, distance, and limited resources, we serve youth aged 10–30 through our flagship Community Hub — a permanent, free learning center in one of Lagos’ largest underserved communities. By bringing high-quality education directly into the community, we remove key barriers. Our model combines academic mastery in Math and English, digital skills training, access to books and technology through a library, and career mentorship. We complement this with small-group learning, family support, and continuous guidance from foundational education to employment. Since inception, CAIN has impacted 10,000+ young people, proving that when education is accessible and sustained, poverty is not inherited — it is interrupted.
