About Sight Aid for Africa Foundation
Sight Aid for Africa Foundation is an African-led eye health organization and proud member of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), dedicated to expanding access to quality vision care for underserved communities across Africa. We believe sight is fundamental to education, productivity, economic participation, and human dignity. Yet millions of Africans continue to live with preventable vision impairment due to barriers in access, affordability, awareness, and timely care. Through community outreach, vision screening, access to corrective eyewear, health education, and referral pathways for treatment, we bring essential eye care services directly to those who need them most. Focused on children, low-income communities, and the elderly, we create sustainable pathways to eye health, opportunity, and independence. We do more than restore sight. We unlock human potential.
